Zhanshan Temple

Buddhists worship in Zhanshan Temple (Zhanshan Si), a temple in Qingdao, China.

Zhanqiao Pier

This pier, Zhanqiao Pier, also known as Qianhai Zhanqiao in Chinese, built in the Qing Dynasty, is the city’s first pier.
In 1985, it was restored and expanded into a reinforced concrete trestle 440 meters long.
At its southern tip, Zhanqiao Pier stretches into the Yellow Sea.
It seems to be a long dragon resting on the sea from a distance.
Known as “the extension of a long rainbow,” the Zhanqiao Pier has earned a solid reputation in the community.
Zhongshan Road, a major landmark in Qingdao, connects the northern half of Zhanqiao Pier, which made Zhanqiao Pier a must-see attraction in Qingdao.
At the Zhanqiao Pier, visitors can watch the massive waves crashing against the dam.
There is a pavilion at the end of the pier, where you may enjoy the sea view.
Walking around the Zhanqiao Pier, accessible 24 hours a day, is free.

Zhongshan Park

Zhongshan Park is Qingdao City’s oldest park, situated in the foreground of the majestic Taiping Mountain.
The park was established in the 20th century and given its current name in honor of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
Dr. Yat-sen is widely regarded as the most notable revolutionary leader in Chinese history.
It’s also the ‘s biggest park, covering 75 hectares and home to a wide variety of plants, including oak trees, Kentucky coffee, and magnolia barks, to name just a few.
